Requirements-A Paper with the following layout: background research, proposal, materials, methods, results, analysis and conclusion followed by references..
-->Three pages of background research, to include information about the general issue you are addressing and the most recent discoveries or inventions pertaining to your topic. This should not only provide information, but emphasize the importance of your particular topic. -->a statement about what you propose/plan to do about the problem and what your research will contribute to the issue. -->materials will be a bulleted list with specific amounts of each material you used for your project. -->methods you followed when building your project or undergoing your experiment. Be specific and list steps, in numbered order. -->results will include information written out in words as well as in tabular and graph forms, but will not include any analysis whatsoever. That is reserved for the next section.. -->analysis of the results will include statistics. You will apply whichever statistic makes most sense for your project. -->the conclusion will tie together your introduction as well as the analysis from your project. What did you state was needed in the first part of the paper that you resolved with your work? Be specific. -->References should be no more than five years old and should be from reliable resources. You need a minimum of five references with authors' names listed. -An experiment that compares at least one experimental group against a control group OR an invention/project that will contribute to knowledge or a resolution to an issue in your category. -Photographs of your experiment or project. -A presentation (board, Prezi or Powerpoint) which will grab the attention of the people viewing it! |
