RequirementsYou will select one poet. No repeats, so as soon as you choose your poet, you've locked it in.
Once you've selected your poet, you must: -500 word (minimum) biography -who, what, when, where and why (why did s/he write?) -Select three poems by that individual -Analyze the poems (one full paragraph each) ---->This should be an explanation as to what you think the poem is about. -Include photographs or drawings of the poet -**new**Include a 100 word (minimum) explanation as to the style of this poet's work. -What importance does this poet or any of his/her poetry have to modern day? -Why did you choose this poet? (100 words) -Write a poem in the style of this poet (must be at least 15 stanzas) -Present in a visibly appealing way |
Important Dates2/3/2014: Select a poet (only one person may do each, so this is first come, first serve)
2/7/2014: Select three poems by that individual (each poem must be at least ten stanzas long) 2/24/2014: Presentation in class Selected PoetsManar: Robert Frost
