Andes Mountains are the world's largest continental mountain range. They are also one of the highest mountain ranges on Earth. The Andes Mountains are located in South America.. It is a great natural feature of our Earth! The Andes Mountains have high plateu; which are surmonted by even higher peaks that form an unbroken rampart over a distance of approximately 5,500 miles from the southern tip of South America to the continent’s northernmost coast on the Caribbean. The Andes Mountains are separated into 3 natural regions; which are the southern, northern, and central. In the central region of this biome it is more mild.. It is mild because it is not near the equator or the cold Antarctica. The largest herb in the world grows here. Most plants that grow in the Andes Mountains are small in size to conserve energy. Most plant's leaves are strong and stiff so it can protect them from frost and cold weather. (If they are high in the mountain). The Andes Mountain supply many homes.. Birds include Flamingo, Andean Flicker, the Condor, and the Hillstar Hummingbird. There are also land animals such as Mountain Lions, The Red Perll, and Llams. Humans are hurting the Andes Mountains by cutting down the trees. Trees shelter many Andrean animals. Humans also mine for gold, silver, and etc and that erodes the soil and hurts the plants that are there in the Andes Mountains. http://www.blueplanetbiomes.org/andes.htm
I read the article New Evidence suggests the sun will not become a Planetary Nebula.. 1) What was the prior belief regarding the sun's life cycle? The prior belief regarding the sun starts from a Stellar Nebula, than a average star, then in 5 billion years a Red Giant, then a planetary Nebula, and finally a white dwarf. 2) What does the new evidence suggest? The new evidence says that the stellar object must be at least 20% heavier than the sun for it to form a planetary Nebula.. However, before this theory it was believed that stars are 1 solar mass ;which is about the size of the sun; to form planetary nebula.. Aside from that, the new research says that it suggests that most planetary nebulae stem form binary system. That means that without a companion the sun may not exceed the mass limit needed to generate the nebula. 3) What impact does this evidence have on our understanding of the sun's future? From this we don't know what will happen to our sun's future. Further research in Binary systems is needed in order for scientist to make their hypothesis more accurate. 4) Explain the relationship between gravity and fusion that keeps our sun in its current state. The gravitational push keeps the sun in its current state; if there wasn't gravitational push towards it the sun would've exploded. 5) What do you find most fascinating about solar science? I find solar science quiet fascinating; my favorite thing is learning about how our sun might be in 5 billion years and the new theories that support our sun. I read the article Sleeping Pills most popular with older people, women 1) Why is this considered news? What is "new" about it? This article is considered news because now and days the sleeping pills are being quiet common and this specific article explains that taking these pills can be threatening.
